Nestled deep in the mountains, surrounded by forested hills and the gentle murmur of a river, Kototokiss is a private villa available for exclusive rental.

The name "Kototokiss" echoes the call of the hototogisu, a bird that heralds the arrival of summer in Japan. But more than that, it reflects our desire to cherish not just things (mono), but experiences (koto)—and to help you create meaningful koto and toki (moments) during your stay.

With only one group accepted per day, this self-catering retreat offers you a completely private experience immersed in nature. We invite you to enjoy a peaceful and personal time surrounded by the sounds and stillness of the mountains.

Children Policy

During the pre-opening period, only guests aged 18 and over are permitted to stay.

Infants (aged 0–1) are allowed to stay, but an additional fee will be charged per child.

1. KOTOTOKISS Private Sauna

  • Equipped with an authentic HARVIA sauna heater for a full löyly experience

  • Evening session: 15:00–21:00 (last entry 19:00) – ¥5,500

  • Morning session: 6:00–9:00 – ¥5,500

2. Campfire Experience

  • Enjoy a relaxing time by the fire, surrounded by the sounds of nature

  • Price: ¥3,300 (includes one bundle of firewood)

3. BBQ Hut Use

  • Bring your own ingredients

  • Includes charcoal, seasonings, BBQ equipment, and tableware

  • Price: ¥4,400 (Free during the pre-opening period)

Please let us know at the time of reservation if you would like to use any options (sauna, campfire, or BBQ hut).
Payment can be made on-site by cash or credit card upon arrival.
