3. Private rooms in a detached house
Tokihanare is a renovated space attached to a 140-year-old private house.
The ceiling, walls, and floor are all covered with natural wool insulation.
The ceiling and part of the walls are made of Tenryu cedar, the walls are made of Spanish plaster, and the floor is made of Japanese paper tatami mats. The space is made almost entirely of natural materials from the base to the finish.
