✔ AccessibleThe former home of the bread oven. A central feature is the lintel in juniper wood uncovered during the renovation project. This is the smallest of the rooms, charming and comfortable, ideal for short stays or stopovers. The architect has added details such as decorative pieces in nautical rope, as well as a large table mounted on chestnut trestles, which became his work table during the last renovation in winter 2020.

The sparkling white rustic lime plaster – typical of the area – contrasts with the blue of the bedspreads, the azure doors and windows and the bleached-board flooring, to reflect the marine setting. Lampshades fashioned from creels cast intricate net-like patterns over the traditional ceiling of beams and woven reeds. The bathroom with shower features the original tiles from the early 20th century.

Camera Terra Cruda
Master craftsmen working with lime and raw earth (“terra cruda”) created the original wall that gives its name to this room, located in the shade of the mandarin trees. Nautical ropes and winches remind us that we are by the sea, as do the shelves made from the old shutters of the fishermen’s cottages.

Bleached chestnut and original photos complete this simple room with a decidedly Mediterranean character.

Camera Coast
Formerly the oil and wine store, today this is the largest and most beautiful of the rooms in the B&B. The name is a tribute to my love of the Gallura region and my history with the Costa Smeralda and its regattas and sailing boats. The Cerasarda tiles from the 1970s, the masonry furnishings with lime plaster, rustic wood-framed beds and the bathroom with its sink created from centuries-old, hand-bleached and waxed oak beams, retro bedside tables and a large wrought iron mirror are all unique examples of design, craftsmanship and repurposing.

If necessary, the room can become a triple. Suitable for small families and longer stays. Private bathroom.

Camera Randa
Created over the winter of 2020/2021, the largest room in Limolo already boasts a star-studded résumé. Designed and built by architect Luciano Pia, the structure is a model of green building. The design was first used in 2017 as a set for the film “Figlia Mia” directed by Laura Bispuri with Valeria Golino and Alba Rohrwacher, hosting several scenes of the only Italian film nominated for the 2018 Berlin Film Festival.

A mezzanine formed of beams shaped to evoke the prows and sterns of classic sailboats overlooks the room and is home to a small library. Illuminated by a roof window, the room has a headboard that lowers to serve as a desk, the most recent reincarnation of a centuries-old front door. Driftwood washed up during storms and a vintage mirror decorate the bathroom, which is equipped with a walk-in shower.

The decision was made to use only rustic lime plaster on the walls, allowing guests to enjoy the changing reflections and plays of light throughout the day.

Camera Mezzana
Sheltered from the summer sun, this room brings together pieces of vintage furniture found in the original house and skilfully restored by local craftsmen. The large chest of drawers with its marble top is a classic piece in Campidano houses: every family owned at least one, which was handed down among family members.

Featuring a large double bed and an exposed stone sink in the room, pastel green dominates the colour palette.
Quiet and restful, the room overlooks a restored window and a flowering wall.

Shower features the original tiles from the early 20th century.

Camera Trinchetta
Small and pretty, with minimal furnishings, excellent light and everything you need for a short stay or stopover. The large and comfortable bathroom characterizes this room, thanks to the shower with its sky view.

An installation of fishing nets creates a visual play of light and shadow against the lime-plastered walls, another example of the creative art to be found throughout the property. The house is a sort of permanent exhibition, inspired by the design and reuse of materials created for other purposes.
