La Casita

La Casita is our special studio apartment located at Villa Del Mar in Chacala. Our desire to create a space that was reflective of Chacala and Nayarit was most important. We used native Parota woods in our décor, each piece custom designed. The only exception is a vintage door from Miravalles, Nayarit which our carpenter repurposed into our headboard. Our accent lighting was originally from a Hacienda located outside Compostela and dates to 1855. It was important that we use as much natural materials from the surrounding area when constructing this guest unit. The bathroom is constructed of polished cement with floors made of locally sourced river rock.

On display is artwork that reflects our local area.  A large framed linocut image of the Chacala beachfront created by Luis Juventino Garzon. Alongside this image are 2 custom prints that are replicas of the petroglyphs located at Alta Vista near Chacala. These were created by Miguel Perez, a resident artist in Chacala, who specializes in a technique called Collagraphy. His studio is a testament to his skills as an artist and educator. A historical Map of Compostela along with highlights of its history is also in La Casita. Our Casita is new but feels more like home. It consists of a Queen Size Bedroom with a sitting area, large bathroom, a kitchen with a dining table and a private outdoor patio area, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

La Vista

La Vista is our one bedroom apartment that features a comfortable Queen bed, separate seating area with sofa and chair. Full kitchen, private bath with shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan and flat screen TV with DVD player. This apartment has a beautiful private patio with ocean view overlooking the bay of Chacala, equipate with tables and chair set. Decorated with local art, antiques and industrial style lighting. All of our rooms include purified water for drinking.

Poolside Double Room​

Our poolside double room features 2 comfortable double beds, a table and chair set, and a built-in closet. We have traditional Mexican terracotta flooring in the room, and tile in the bathroom. This room also offers a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker, all for your convenience. All of our rooms include purified water for drinking.

King Room with Kitchen​

Our King Room with Kitchen features a comfortable king-sized bed, a table and chair set, and a built-in closet. We have traditional Mexican terracotta flooring in the room, and tile in the bathroom. This room offers a full kitchen, which consists of a 4-burner gas cooktop, sink, full-sized refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, and more, all for your convenience. All of our rooms include purified water for drinking.

Queen Room with Kitchen​

All of our rooms include purified water for drinking. Decorated with local art, antiques and industrial style lighting.

Two-Bedroom Apartment​

Our Two-Bedroom Apartment features a comfortable queen-sized bed, a table and chair set, and a built-in closet in our main room. Both rooms have traditional Mexican terracotta flooring in the room, and tile in the bathroom. Our main room offers a full kitchen, which consists of a 4-burner gas cooktop, sink, full-sized refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, and more, all for your convenience.

The second bedroom also features a comfortable double bed, a table and chair set, and a built-in closet, mini-fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker.

Both of our rooms include purified water for drinking.
