Garden Bothy is the latest addition to our holiday cottages at Forglen. Sleeping 2 people, this modernised ‘but ‘n’ ben’ was designed as a perfect place for a couple’s retreat or for a single person looking to get away from it all for a few days. This cosy, 2 roomed cottage has underfloor heating, an open plan living and modern kitchen/ dining area, a large shower room and a bedroom which has not only a  king sized bed but also a  freestanding bath for total relaxation . The Bothy is just a couple of minutes walk down the track from Garden Cottage so ideal if your party would like to holiday together but ‘apart’.

Smiddy Cottage – Sleeps 8 – Pets Welcome
Our largest cottage set back in its own extensive grounds, with a stream running along into a series of small unfenced ponds. The former Blacksmiths cottage, it has been extended to provide more living space, and is a great choice for larger parties.
This lovely cottage can accommodate up to 8 people, in 4 bedrooms so makes an ideal place for a family get together . Each room is well appointed, bright and airy.
On the ground floor there is a fully equipped Kitchen, a spacious Lounge complete with an  Open Fireplace, above which is a hand made mantelpiece , made from Elm wood from the Estate itself. Also on the ground floor there is a large king size room and a twin bedded room, and a shower room with WC .
The carpeted staircase leads you to the first floor, which comprises of a Double Bedroom, a twin Bedded room and another bathroom .

Our most architecturally beautiful cottage, the Lodge is set at the edge of the Estate. At one time the residence of the Estate Gate Keeper,  it has been renovated and upgraded to provide you with a truly unique and special place to come and stay.
The picturesque Lodge can accommodate up to 6 people, in 3 bedrooms. Each room has been decorated in neutral tones, and is furnished to a high standard. On the ground floor there is a large fully equipped Kitchen and Dining area, a Family Bathroom with bath and separate Shower, a spacious Lounge , complete with Tartan carpet and an open Fireplace with mantelpiece made from a piece of Elm from the estate .  The lounge has a TV with FreeSat receiver . There is wi-fi throughout the Lodge .
The ground floor also has a Double Bedroom. A Tartan carpet leads you to the first floor, which comprises of a further Double Bedroom, a twin Bedded room, and there is also an upstairs WC.

It has a large front lawn and fields all around so is a very peaceful cottage where you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by nature. The cottage can accommodate up to 6 people, in 3 bedrooms. Each room is bright and airy and has been well laid out to make the most of the space available. On the ground floor to the rear of the cottage there is a fully equipped Kitchen with small Dining area and the bathroom which has a shower above the bath . To the front downstairs is a cosy Lounge and a Double Bedroom as well as the front door which leads to the extensive hedged lawn area with picnic table. The carpeted staircase leads you from the lounge to the first floor, which comprises two twin Bedded rooms.

Holiday cottage guests of the estate will be given access to the Walled Garden for the duration of their stay . This delightful cottage can accommodate up to 6 people, in 3 bedrooms.

Each room is charming and homely. On the ground floor, we have the Kitchen, Lounge and dining area, a large Master bedroom and a family bathroom. The original staircase leads you to the first floor where there are two further bedrooms – one twin bedded and another double room and a shower / WC.
