Read a book on our comfortable sofa in the lounge room with the sea breeze in summer or fireplace in winter. Play board games after dinner in the dining room area. Wake up to the morning coffee, BBQ Bacon and eggs and sit in the outside dining area and enjoy the morning peace. A short walk to the beach around the river mouth (1.6km). The House is an older style house and can be a little dusty depending on the time of year. However we clean both before and after each guest. Upon departure, the house must be left in a clean and tidy state. All dishes must be done and packed away. Please strip beds of linen for cleaner. Oven, stovetop and BBQ must be left clean. Please put all linen in a pile laundry area for pick up.

Welcome to the Blue House Bremer Bay. Designed with holidays in mind for families and small groups, the Blue House is the ideal location for any time of year. Relax on the spacious deck overlooking the estuary with views of the ocean or stretch out in the open-plan kitchen and living area. The fully equipped kitchen, drinks fridge and laundry facilities make it a home away from home, along with reverse-cycle air-conditioning and a wood-fire heater to keep you comfortable no matter what the weather is like.

The space

The modern open-plan kitchen and living area has plenty of room to stretch out with a fantastic feature bush pole. A flat screen TV, DVD player and stereo are provided, along with a few board games and holiday reading. 

The fully equipped kitchen includes sandwich press, baking trays and a Nespresso pod coffee machine. We provide a few pods to get you started but you'll need to bring your own for your stay. Instant coffee, tea and sugar is also supplied.

There's plenty of space for everyone with 1 x King Bed, 1 x Queen Bed, 1 x Double Bed with single bunk above; and 2 x single bunks. Doonas and pillows are provided. A porta-cot and highchair are available for groups with small children.

Walk-in or built in robes in each room and the ensuite featuring a double headed shower ensures a retreat-like atmosphere. The main bathroom has a bath and shower. Linen can be provided for an additional fee. Please request on booking with required bed arrangements.

The back lawn area provides space for kids to play safely while the native bush garden at the front of the property attracts many species of birds to watch while you enjoy the deck area.

Mick's Pad is located a stone's throw from all the towns main amenities. The Bremer Bay Brewing Company, Bremer Bay Resort and Telegraph Station are the closest. Wake up and walk less than 100m to get a delish coffee and breakfast. Main Beach is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive.

Mick's Pad isn't modern, but it does have great bones and everything you need for a great family holiday. The large enclosed outdoor entertaining area has a large wooden table and tile fire, so rain hail or shine you can be comfortable. There is also a separate washroom with a w/c and shower to wash all the days sand away.

Other things to note
Long weekends are a three night minimum stay

There are some stairs in the outdoor area.
There is a wood fire inside and in the outdoor area but wood isn't supplied. Wood can be purchased from the Hardware or General Store for about $16/bag.
There is a reverse cycle Air-conditioner in the living area.
Guests do not have access to the large shed.

Bremer Beach House is a light and airy beach home set in the townsite of Bremer Bay within walking distance of shops, restaurants/cafes, the hotel and our lovely beaches. The two storey property sleeps up to ten people across three bedrooms. The open plan kitchen, family and dining room are upstairs and offer partial views of the Bremer River or are a great place to relax and watch TV in the lounge.

A spacious master bedroom upstairs provides ample privacy with a shared ensuite attached, built in robes and a vintage dressing table. Bedroom 2 is located downstairs and offers ample room for the kids, couples or even whole families with a double bed and 2 singles. Bedroom 3 is also located downstairs and offfers even more room than Bedroom 2 with a queen bed and 2 singles as well as having direct access to the second bathroom and laundry.

Full Linen and Bath towels are provided for the amount of guests booked, please advise guest numbers upon booking. BYO Beach towels.

The second bathroom and laundry adjoin Bedroom 3 and can also be accessed directly from outside. The second bathroom includes shower, toilet and vanity (there is a bath located in the upstairs bathroom/ensuite). The laundry offers a front loader washing machine and both outdoor and undercover-washing lines allow for drying clothes in all weather. The fully enclosed backyard includes a covered BBQ area with bar setting as well as plenty of shade and lawn for the kids. Parking is easy with 2 driveways, perfectly suited to leaving the cars in one and the boat in the other!

The vibrant community of Bremer Bay is constantly growing and in case the pristine beaches and peace and tranquility aren't enough to attract you, there are several restaurants/cafes, renowned whale watching tours, local winery, beautiful walk trails, great fishing spots and plenty more on offer! Biddy House is not perfect but it’s clean, comfortable, welcoming and very reasonably priced. If matching linen and crokery is important to you, or you just prefer the fancier things in life then please note this property is not for you.

*There are two small private one bedroom cabins for rental. Biddy Cabin One located at the front and Biddy Cabin Two at the rear of the block. These cabins do not interfere with your stay. There is a shared driveway only. The house has a private fully fenced rear yard. If you are interested in renting the Cabins with the house please get in touch so we can check if the dates will work for you.
