Waen Fechan is a traditional cottage surrounded by beautiful mountain views.

For many years, it was the Willmer family’s much-loved holiday home, where they created memories that later inspired the book Waen and the Willmers. Over the years, the cottage has been home to many more fascinating stories, including its time as the home of a fighter pilot named Neville and the waterwheel couple, May and Idris.

Today, Waen Fechan remains a peaceful retreat where you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding countryside.

Y Cwtch, meaning The Cuddle in Welsh, is a beautifully restored cottage rich with the stories of bygone times.

An impressive beam reclaimed from the old Cymer Abbey frames the grand fireplace and traditional bread oven, while the cubby holes from the old waterwheel have been carefully preserved.

A striking section of the wall is crafted from timber salvaged from a local shipwreck, adding to the cottage’s remarkable history.

Today, Y Cwtch is a beautiful retreat where modern comfort meets over 500 years of history, surrounded by established gardens lovingly created by its previous owner, Pam.

This is our private off-grid pitch at Pandy Farm, set in the most remote part of our land with uninterrupted mountain views in every direction.

It's peaceful, natural and completely away from civilisation. If you're looking for a simple, stripped-back place to stay with space, silence and incredible scenery, this is it.

Access to the pitch is 4×4 only. The track is rough, uneven and steep in places, and standard vehicles will not make it up. You'll drive just over a mile along our gravel and woodland track before the landscape opens out to sweeping views across Snowdonia.

We'll meet you at the farm on arrival, guide you to the pitch in your 4×4, then leave you to enjoy the peace and privacy.

Once the estate saddlery, this charming and modernised farmhouse is full of character and history.

The upper floor was originally used as a granary for storing oats and grain, with an ingenious ventilation system designed to dry and preserve the harvest. Once dried, the grain was processed in the estate’s water-powered mill, which is currently undergoing restoration.
