Cancellation Policy
We know plans can change, so here’s how our cancellations work:

More than 4 weeks before check-in – you’ll receive a full refund (minus the non-refundable 30% deposit).

Within 4 weeks of check-in – the full balance is non-refundable.

If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible so we can try to re-let the cabin.

Payments
To confirm your booking we take a 30% deposit upfront. The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before check-in — you’ll get a reminder email when it’s time to pay.

If you book less than 6 weeks before your stay, the full balance will be due at the time of booking.

Staying at White House Hideaway
We want your stay to be as relaxing and memorable as possible. To help with that, here are a few things to know before you arrive:

A working farm
We’re based on our family dairy farm, so you may hear tractors or cows from time to time. Please stick to the cabin areas unless we’ve said otherwise for your own safety.

Parking
Each cabin has space for 1 car. Let us know if you need more.

Check-in & out
Check-out is 10am so we can get everything ready for the next guests.

Dogs
Dogs are very welcome (small fee of £10 per stay). Please keep them on leads near the cows and tidy up after them. Please don't let them on the beds.

The river
You’ll have access to our stretch of the River Wye with a private pebble beach. Swimming is at your own risk, and if you’d like to fish you’ll need a rod licence from the Environment Agency.

Fires & cooking
Firepits and BBQs are fine in the designated spots. Please don’t use candles or cooking stoves inside the cabins.

Quiet hours
To keep the peace, we ask for quiet between 10pm and 7:30am.

Before you leave
Please leave your cabin tidy. If you’ve forgotten something, we’ll happily post it back for a small fee to cover postage.

A few no-nos
No fireworks, sky lanterns or glitter – we’re in the countryside and it’s not great for wildlife.
