General Policies

○ To make a reservation, a payment of $1,000 pesos per room is required.
○ The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival at the hotel to guarantee access. If paid by card or bank transfer, a 30% discount will apply (bringing the rate to $3,500 per night per room). If paid in cash, a 40% discount will apply (bringing the rate to $3,000 per night per room).
○ For payments made via bank deposit, transfer, or payment at Oxxo/7 Eleven, reservations will be held for only 24 hours and the payment receipt must be sent to the WhatsApp number provided on the website within this time frame. If it is not received, the reservation will be automatically canceled.
○ The remaining balance must be paid at check-in in order to provide your room(s).
○ All special requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
○ Check-in time 03:00 PM | Check-out time 12:00 PM. Early check-in and late check-out are not permitted; access to the facilities and rooms will be from 3:00 PM without exception. If rooms or facilities have not been vacated after 12:30 PM, a charge equivalent to one night ($3,500 MXN) may apply without guaranteed lodging.
○ Extra beds are not available in the rooms.
○ Visitors who are not registered guests are not allowed.
○ A valid ID per registered room is required at check-in.
○ Smoking inside rooms and bringing illegal and/or dangerous substances is prohibited.
○ The use of any type of pyrotechnics is strictly prohibited, including sparklers and spark-producing fireworks.
○ Excessive noise after 11:00 PM is not allowed.
○ Please keep electronic devices turned off when not in your room, such as fans or A/C.
○ Guests are responsible for any damage they may accidentally cause to the facilities or furniture.
○ Guests are responsible for their valuables.
○ The hotel is not responsible for forgotten valuables.
○ Animals are not allowed in the hotel rooms, except for those assisting people with disabilities.
○ Access to the Bacalar Lagoon (La Laguna) is public and regulated for conservation by the State of Quintana Roo; therefore, the Hotel is not responsible for incidents occurring in those areas.
○ The permitted hours for access to the lagoon are from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
○ The use of a life jacket is mandatory; failure to use one will be the sole responsibility of the guest.
○ For the use of kayaks, paddles, life jackets, towels, or any other recreational items, a security deposit of $1,500.00 Mexican pesos or its equivalent in foreign currency will be required to ensure their proper return to the Hotel.
○ We accept 1 small-breed pet per reservation, on a leash. Please note that Xula Azul is home to two very friendly dogs. If the pet relieves itself, it must be cleaned immediately. If there are accidents in the room that are not reported, fines will apply.
○ We provide two (2) towels per room; if additional towels, pillows, sheets, and/or blankets are required, each will have an additional cost of $50 MXN.
○ Reservations for specific rooms are subject to availability.

The reservation may be canceled at no cost as long as it is done at least one week prior to the stay. In this case, the deposit will be refunded to the same account used for the transfer. If the stay is less than 7 days away, the deposit may be applied to a future date, but it will not be refundable.
