The apartment is comfortable, with enough space for two to enjoy in a relaxing manner that establishes the feel of Edinburgh when you're back from time in the city. There is a private courtyard to the front of the property. It is a basement flat with 10 steps leading up to the flat door.

The ambience is calming, and the property provides a haven after a busy day sightseeing.

There is indeed a wood burner; however, since the pandemic, we have been struggling to find a chimney sweep. It is therefore currently out of use. Apologies.
