A Few Words About Our Apartment

Our apartment by the Black Gate is a haven for antique enthusiasts. We've furnished it with meticulous attention to detail, starting from the teacup and ending with the bed, capturing the spirit of a bygone era when life moved at a slower pace and surrounding objects had a soul.
The choice of our epochal decor perfectly complements our location, right in the heart of the old town, within one of Kłodzko's oldest buildings, next to the baroque gate of the historic church. The staircase is soon to be a marvel of beauty as we await the final approvals from the heritage conservation authorities to begin renovations.
The apartment is incredibly quiet. The neighboring church refrains from using bells, and the Kościelna Street itself is very serene. In the vicinity of the building, you can indulge in a variety of culinary delights, as the Old Town is filled with restaurants, cafes, and shops.
From the second floor of our apartment, you can enjoy views of the church and the street, and from the kitchen, you can gaze upon the ruins of walls and the adjacent street.
In our spacious apartment, we've revealed the original ribbing of the walls, the so-called Prussian wall from 1576, giving the place an incredible atmosphere.
Every piece of furniture and object was carefully chosen to bring both aesthetic pleasure and utility. We've gathered souvenirs and everyday items, all at your disposal during your stay. We provide free WiFi and a Smart TV for you to enjoy your streaming platforms using your own account.
In our apartment, you'll find the most comfortable beds and the softest, luxurious linens. You can relax on the original Chesterfield sofa, gaze into a 100-year-old Italian mirror, or touch the alabaster marble of a French console from the 19th century.
You can savor your morning coffee in exquisite, epochal teacups, guaranteed to taste better than in ordinary mugs (which are also available in our original, stylish kitchen).

Neighbourhood and Getting Around

We highly recommend taking a leisurely stroll to the Old Town, the impressive Kłodzko Fortress, the Church of the Assumption, and the intriguing underground route situated right behind the Church. Immerse yourself in the charm of these historical sites, all conveniently accessible without the need to start your car engine.

Parking is available free of charge in the Old Town area, but please note that parking under our building is not permitted. Enjoy the convenience of having everything within reach and savor the unique experiences Kłodzko has to offer.

The guest can cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel in the 7 days before arrival.
We facilitate prepayment of the full amount from the guests before arrival.

A beautiful, stylishly furnished apartment (62 m2) in the very center of Kłodzko Old Town. A magical place for a romantic stay for 3 people. The apartment is located in one of the oldest tenement houses in the city, dating back to 1576. The building is under strict conservation supervision and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Black Gate and the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The apartment is equipped with everything you need to spend your time comfortably, and the parking lot is only 100 meters from the building.

Guest Access and Contact  
 
The entire apartment is at the full disposal of our guests. We extend a warm welcome to our four-legged friends, for whom we have prepared special and comfortable bedding. Upon request, we can also provide a portable baby cot and a high chair for our youngest guests.
In case of any emergency, guests can reach us via email, phone, or in person, although we kindly ask for understanding as we reside outside of the town. Rest assured, we will respond within a couple of hours to address any concerns or assist with any needs.
To ensure a seamless check-in experience, we will send detailed instructions and codes for the Lockbox and gate 24 hours before your scheduled check-in time. This way, you can access the apartment with ease and at your convenience.

 
How to Get to Our Apartment?

The shortest way to the Apartment at the Black Gate leads from the free parking at the end of Zawisza Czarny Street. Taking steps to your left to get to the back of the church and then walking to the right side of the church wall will take you directly to the house gate. You can also drive up to the building from Wojska Polskiego Street (where on the pedestrian zone sign you can find a phone number to seek Local Guard approval to get to the building for unloading your suitcases (up to 20 minutes only.
