(You can check the meter reading outside the building on the right side next to the garage or ask us for a photo of the current meter reading at check-in).
Hint: To avoid additional costs, use air conditioners sparingly and turn off water heaters, fans and lights when you are not in the home. Monthly rates DON'T include electricity - the electricity meter is read together with the guest at check-in and check-out. The (additional) consumption is only charged at cost price of DOP 15.-/KWH
- Parties, events, drugs or smoking inside is NOT allowed
- The person who has made the reservation is responsible for all other persons and all their actions who enter the building on the basis of this reservation
- Respect neighbors and keep the night's rest - NO loud noise / music / TV after 9pm - 8am!
- Do not turn off or tamper with the WIFI units/router and cable TV boxes.
- We expect our guests to treat our apartment/room as if it were their own home and reserve the right to charge the costs for damages and/or cleaning costs for impurities and/or for excessive electricity consumption beyond the normal scope.
- We accept no responsibility for any loss, accident, personal injury, medical expenses or property damage caused by personal negligence or by any other circumstances beyond our control.
- If forgotten items are found, we can keep them for a maximum of 7 days for logistical reasons, after which no further claims can be made.

- We would like to inform you that the air conditioner(s) in the bedrooms are not intended or designed to run 24/7 at 16C (77F) and/or to cool the entire apartment when leaving the doors open! This harms the environment, unnecessarily increases electricity costs and also shortens the lifespan. The rental price therefore only includes a limited average electricity consumption in order to still pass on our low rental prices to all guests, as some guests simply ignore these instructions.

These amounts are sufficient to adequately cool the bedrooms with moderate air conditioning usage.
Additional costs of USD 0.40/kWh will apply for excess consumption
When checking-in, please make sure that the electricity meter next to the fuse box (Apt. 202.3, Apt. 202.2, Apt. 302.2, Apt. 302.1) or on the left side above the sliding door (Room 202.1) has been reset. Make sure to inform us IMMEDIATELY by Whatsapp or phone if more than around 1 KWH is displayed (due to minimal self-consumption) or if you can't find it.

Here are some simple tips to keep power consumption low and avoid additional costs:
- - Close the bedroom doors and windows when the air conditioning is on
- - Use air conditioner(s) sparingly and turn them off when leaving the room for a longer period of time
- - Do not set the lowest temperature, this is never achieved here in the tropical climate - e.g. 25-26C (77-79F) should be sufficient
- - Turn off water heaters, fans and lights when you are not in the home

- Monthly rates DON'T include electricity - the electricity meter will be set to "zero" at check-in and billed monthly and/or at check-out. The consumption is only charged at cost price of USD 0.30 /KWH
- We expect our guests to treat our property as if it were their own home and reserve the right to charge the costs for damages and/or cleaning costs for impurities and/or for excessive electricity consumption beyond the normal scope.
- If forgotten items are found, we can keep them for a maximum of 7 days for logistical reasons, after which no further claims can be made.
