General
The guest is obligated to pay on arrival for the accommodations and lodging - Potsdam Hostel is required to provide a guaranteed accommodations for the confirmed period. We reserve the right to deny accommodation. The corporate and business locations of Quartier – Potsdam Hostel is Ribbeckstraße 41-14469 Potsdam. Performance and jurisdiction is in Potsdam. Printing and calculating errors may be changed on this website without notice.

Arrival and Departure
The accommodations are available starting at 16:00 o’clock – the room must be vacated by 11:00 o’clock on the guests departure day.

Price and Payment
The prices on the website are the current prices. These prices are subject to change. Some of these prices differ in the hostel links (extra booking fees – World Hostel, Hostel Club, etc.). The entire amount due must be paid upon arrival in cash or by credit card (plus a processing fee). The same applies for additional costs during the stay. Quartier – Potsdam Hostel can authorize an advance payment of 50% to the total cost of the reservation. Groups always require a pre-payment. The prices include German VAT or legal worth taxes.

Reservation and Booking
A reservation request response is still not a confirmed booking! Only when the inquiry is confirmed by email from the Hostel – at that time Potsdam Hostel has an accommodation contract complete. Subleases to third parties are prohibited. Quartier - Potsdam Hostel accommodations are decided on the basis of availability of the room allocation. Deviations from the room descriptions do not justify any claims. Last minute reservations are always possible. Group reservations are accepted only if this does not disturb the already confirmed bookings.On weekends, we reserve the right to respect for a minimum stay of 2 nights.

Cancelations, Early Departures and No Shows
A cancellation by the guest is only valid after the guest has received a cancellation confirmation via email from headquarters of the Potsdam Hostel. If the guest wants to cancel a booking, the following rules apply:
Up to 14 days before arrival: No cancellation fee (Group booking 6 weeks)
Less than 8 days: 80% of the total reservation fee
Early departure: 100% of the total reservation.
The calculation of the final cancellation fees are at the discretion of the Potsdam Hostel. Group reservations can be cancelled free of charge up to 6 weeks before the reservation date. Then the points of 2, 3, and 4 of the cancellation rules apply.

Termination
Quartier - Potsdam Hostel reserves the right to cancel a reservation for the following reasons:
incorrect information is received about a guest
a guest does not provide the down payment
a guest does not pay on arrival
a guest does not arrive

Liability
Damage or loss complaints must be made immediately. The liability of Quartiers - Potsdam Hostel is limited to the statutory provisions. Valuables, jewellery, or cash are not the responsibility of - Potsdam Hostel. We recommend to purchase adequate travel insurance to protect against possible damage or loss. For damage in the rooms, the building, or the equipment caused by negligence or deliberate harm, we can charge the guest of - Potsdam Hostel for all damages. Youth Groups Groups of young people under 18 years of age must be accompanied by at least one responsible adult (18 years of age or older). The escort(s) must stay at the hostel.

Pets
Basically, pets are not allowed in the hostel.

Cancellation, early departure and no show

A cancellation by the guest is only valid after the guest a cancellation confirmation email from Quartier - Potsdam Hostel received.
If the guest wants to cancel a booking, the following rules apply:

1. Up to 14 days before date of arrival: no cancellation fee. (Group booking 12 weeks)
2. Less than 8 days: 80% of the total reservation (group booking 12 weeks)
3. Early departure: 100% of the total reservation

Group reservations can be carried out free of charge until 12 weeks before the reservation date. If canceled for group reservations within these 12 weeks usually fall to cancellation fees. The calculation of the final cancellation fees at the discretion of Quartier - Potsdam Hostel and also depends on the extent to which originally reserved rooms can be reassigned again.
