The hotel is ideally located, just a stone's throw from the famous Route des Crêtes, a panoramic loop through the vertiginous landscapes of the Grand Canyon du Verdon. The route is dotted with 14 must-see lookouts, each offering breathtaking views of the sheer cliffs and the Verdon River below. The 25km route is ideal for cycling. 

Also, discover La Palud-sur-Verdon, a central village halfway between Castellane and Moustiers-Sainte-Marie.

Unless you're an expert, you'll need to choose a guide who will also provide you with the equipment you need for water trekking or canyoning. On this site, we offer a wide choice of half-day, short-day and full-day aqua-tours. Once you've selected the tour you'd like to go on, you can book it online. 
La Palud's guides offer a range of refreshing hikes. Equipped with neoprene wetsuits, you can explore the local canyons. There are many to choose from, from simple swims, jumps and natural slides to more technical canyons with abseils under waterfalls.

You're also close to the Grand Canyon du Verdon, the Corniche Sublime, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, Lac de Sainte Croix...
