Guesthouse Shukufuku (hereinafter referred to as "our guesthouse") recognizes the importance of protecting our guests' personal information and will comply with the Act on the Protection of Customer Information (hereinafter referred to as "Personal Information Protection Act"), and will endeavor to properly handle and protect guest information, including guest information, in accordance with the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as "this policy").

Article 1 (Customer information we hold)

In this policy, "customer information" refers to information related to the customer's identification, behavioral history on communication services, and other information generated or accumulated in connection with the customer's device. We may acquire and collect customer information from customers who use our service in the following ways.

1. Acquisition and collection through our service:
We acquire and collect customer information entered by the customer themselves on our service.

2. Acquisition and collection by email, written document, telephone, etc.
We acquire and collect customer information provided by customers to our service by email, written document, telephone, etc.

3. Information provided by other services when customers permit integration with other services when using our service: If you permit integration

4. Information acquired and collected by the hotel when the customer uses our services The
hotel will acquire and collect information regarding access to our services and how they are used. This information includes the following:

・Information on server access logs
・Cookies, ADID, IDFA and other identifiers
Furthermore, all advance payments on our services are made by credit card via third-party payment services, and the hotel will not acquire complete credit card information except for access tokens to other companies' payment services.

Article 2 (Purpose of Use)

The specific purposes for which our inn uses customer information are as follows. We will not use it for any other purposes other than those described in Section 4 or unless we have received individual consent from the customer.

3. To respond to actions that violate our inn's terms and conditions regarding our services
4. To notify you of changes to our inn's terms and conditions
5. To conduct research to further improve our services and send rewards for such research
6. To help improve our services and develop new services
7. To create statistical data related to our services that has been processed into a format that does not identify individuals
8. For purposes of use that have been separately specified or announced to customers
9. For other purposes incidental to the above purposes of use

Article 3 (Handling of Information)

1. We will manage the information entrusted to us by our guests and other individuals appropriately and carefully, and will take necessary and reasonable safety management measures to prevent the risk of leakage, loss, misuse, tampering, and unauthorized access. Furthermore, when information is provided via communication means, we will endeavor to ensure safety by using security technologies such as SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encrypted communication as necessary to prepare for interception by third parties during communication.
2. In order to improve the quality of our services and provide convenience to our guests and other individuals, we may outsource some of the handling of the information entrusted to us by our guests and other individuals to external companies. In such cases, we will instruct and supervise the outsourced companies to ensure appropriate management of the information.
3. To respond to any actions that violate our accommodation's terms and conditions regarding our accommodation's services.
4. To notify you of changes to the terms and conditions regarding our accommodation's services.
5. To conduct surveys to further improve our accommodation's services and to send rewards for such surveys.
6. To help improve our accommodation's services and develop new accommodation's services.
7. To create statistical data in a format that does not identify individuals, in relation to our accommodation's services.
8. For purposes of use that have been separately specified or published to customers.
9. For other purposes incidental to the above purposes of use.

Article 4 (Disclosure and provision to third parties)

1. When the customer himself/herself has given his/her consent.
2. When the handling of customer information is entrusted to a third party within the scope necessary to provide services to the customer.
3. When it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the customer's consent.
4. When there has been illegal access, threats, or other illegal activity, and the hotel has determined that disclosure or provision of customer information is necessary to resolve the issue.
5. When customer information is provided in connection with business succession due to a merger or other reason.
6. When the provision of customer information is requested by a national or local government agency or other public institution based on laws and regulations, and there is no reasonable reason to refuse to provide it. 7. When
other cases are permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.

Article 5 (Correction and Suspension of Use of Customer Information)

1. If a guest requests (1) the correction of customer information pursuant to the Personal Information Protection Act because the information is inaccurate, or (2) the suspension of use of customer information because the information is being handled beyond the scope of the previously announced purposes of use or was acquired or collected through false or other improper means, we will confirm the guest's identity and conduct any necessary investigation without delay. Based on the results of the investigation, we will correct the content of the customer information or suspend its use and notify the guest. If we decide not to correct or suspend its use, we will notify the guest accordingly.
2. If a guest requests the deletion of their customer information and we determine that it is necessary to comply with the request, we will confirm the guest's identity, delete the customer information, and notify the guest accordingly.
3. If the guest is not obligated to correct or suspend its use under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations, the provisions of Paragraphs 1 and 2 do not apply.

Article 6 (Procedure for changing the privacy policy)

1. We may change our privacy policy at our discretion in the following cases:
1.1. When the change to the privacy policy is in the general interest of users.
1.2 When the change to the privacy policy does not contradict the purpose of the contract and is reasonable in light of the necessity of the change, the appropriateness of the content after the change, the content of the change, and other circumstances related to the change.
2. When we change the privacy policy pursuant to the preceding paragraph, we will post a notice on our website (URL: shukufuku.com) or notify users by email of the change, the content of the changed privacy policy, and its effective date, at least one month before the effective date of the changed privacy policy.
3. If the change requires the user's consent under law, we will obtain the user's consent in the manner specified by our hotel.
