Ocean Wilderness Inn: A Tranquil Coastal Retreat

Perched on a dramatic cliff overlooking the Juan de Fuca Strait, our five-acre oceanfront property is a sanctuary with 8 private suites, each with a private entrance, attached to a log cabin and Country Inn nestled along scenic HWY 14.


2026 marks our 40th Anniversary, celebrating a legacy of West Coast hospitality that began in 1986.


Property Policy: Minimum Age 18

To ensure a quiet and restorative environment for all travellers, Ocean Wilderness Inn is an adult-only property for guests aged 18 and older. Guests of all ages are welcome exclusively through our Full House Buyout option, which provides private access to all suites and grounds. We specialize in multi-day escapes.


  • Artisan Breakfast: Your stay includes our signature breakfast which includes, quiche, fresh-baked muffins, and other local favourites - served in our historic 1960's log cabin.
  • Nature & Wildlife: Follow our private hiking trail to the beach—a prime spot for tide pooling, viewing seals, eagles, whales, and ancient fossils embedded in the sandstone cliffs.
