Barrel House, Rustic Chalet

The Barrel House is a cozy A-frame tucked into the woods of Eastern Kentucky, in the heart of the Red River Gorge—blending bourbon country charm with back-to-basics magic. Built from locally sourced rough-cut lumber and reclaimed materials, it’s a space full of character and story.

This snug retreat sleeps up to four guests on two queen beds and is made for slow mornings and quiet nights. Brew a cup at the coffee bar, spin a record, and let time stretch out. A mini fridge keeps essentials close, while a wood-fired stove and split unit ensure comfort in every season.

As a dry cabin, the Barrel House offers a lightly off-grid experience with shared amenities just a short walk away. The bathhouse includes two composting toilets and two hot showers, designed with simplicity and sustainability in mind. You’ll also find a communal charcoal grill and a shared kitchenette with a gas stove, sink, cookware, and dishware for easy, relaxed meals.

The Hive at High Rock is designed as a place to gently land—a space for stillness, reflection, and reconnecting with what matters. To preserve that atmosphere, there is no music in shared spaces, and quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM.

Dog-friendly and full of personality, the Barrel House is perfect for those who appreciate a slower pace, a quieter stay, and something a little different.

The Outer Reaches is a thoughtfully curated  Lotus Belle tent that feels both grounded in nature and quietly elevated.

Designed for two, the space centers around a comfortable queen bed with a heated mattress perfect for cozy nights and slow mornings. A split unit provides both heating and air conditioning, keeping the tent comfortable through every season, while a mini fridge offers a convenient place to keep drinks and essentials close at hand.

Inside, the tent reflects a carefully layered, creative touch, inviting you to unwind, recharge, and settle into a more intentional pace. It’s a space made for reading, resting, and letting your thoughts wander a bit further than usual.

Guests have access to shared amenities just a short walk away, including a bathhouse with two composting toilets and two hot showers.
