The cottage has been immaculately refurbished and thoughtfully designed, offering a comfortable and sociable place for up to six guests to relax and recharge. Enter through the front door into a welcoming open-plan space with a dining table, working wood-burning stove and fully fitted kitchen. The living areas flow through to the garden room, with doors opening directly onto the garden. (Please note that the fireplace in the conservatory is decorative only and must not be used.) There is a downstairs double bedroom and WC. Upstairs, there is a master bedroom, a bunk room and a family bathroom. The cottage has a lovely lawned garden, accessed directly from the garden room, with a private BBQ and outdoor entertaining area. Two parking spaces are available for cottage guests. Railway Cottage is beside a slow section of railway line, so you may occasionally hear trains passing. This does not affect most guests, and we barely notice them ourselves. Please note that this is a family home and we ask all guests to treat it with care and respect. PLese report any damage or breakages immediately. The Cabin sits within the grounds of Railway Cottage but has its own private entrance, living space and outside seating area. Guests should be aware that the two properties are close to one another. Would you like exclusive use of the whole property? To book both Railway Cottage AND The Cabin, select both units for the same dates. The Cabin has been refurbished and fitted out to a high standard, offering a comfortable place to relax and recharge. There is a spacious sitting room with a sofa, television, two armchairs and a bistro dining table with two chairs. The main ground-floor bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite shower room. There is also an additional bathroom off the sitting room. The Cabin is ideal for two adults. An additional loft sleeping area can accommodate up to two more guests. The double mezzanine bed will be made up for bookings of more than two guests. If you would prefer 2 singles please bring your own bedding. The loft is reached by steep ladders and has restricted ceiling height and open sides. It is suitable only for agile guests. Use by children under 13 is strictly at parental discretion. Babies and non-crawling infants are welcome. Guests accept responsibility for the safety of children and adults using the mezzanine - it is accesed by a ladder and may not be suitable for all. The kitchenette includes a small portable oven and grill, single-ring hob, fridge, sink, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, glasses, corkscrew and Nespresso machine. Instant coffee, sugar and a selection of teas are provided. This is not a fully fitted kitchen and is best suited to preparing light meals. The bistro table seats two guests. Outside, the Cabin has a private courtyard with BBQ and seating. The rear garden is reserved for guests staying in Railway Cottage. Railway Cottage is beside a slow section of railway line, so you may occasionally hear trains passing. This does not affect most guests, and we barely notice them ourselves. Railway Junction Cottage and Cabin allows accommodation for up to 10: 6 in the Cottage and 4 in the cabin Both properties have been lovingly fitted out and designed delivering an incredible property for extended families and groups to dine together The Cottage: Enter through cloakroom into an wonderful open space containing dining table, wood burning stove and fully fitted kitchen, an open plan garden room connects the space with the garden and has an open fire and doors to the garden. Space for 10 to dine together and make full use of the lovely kitchen A downstairs double bedroom, and WC. Upstairs an additional bathroom serving the master bedroom and bunk room. The Cabin This lovely cabin is just a few steps away from the cottage. There is a large sitting room with a sofa, TV, two arm chairs, bistro dinning table with 2 chairs. The main ground floor bedroom has a king size bed with en-suite shower room, there is also an additional bathroom off the sitting room. Loft ladders take you up to the cosy loft sleeping areas, this is open plan above the sitting room and on one side it has a king-size mattress, whilst the other side has 2 single mattresses (additional occupancy fee if these are required). The loft is suitable for agile adults, has restricted ceiling height, steep ladders and open sides and if used for children under 13 IS STRICTLY AT PARENTAL DISCRETION. There is a kitchenette, fridge, sink, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, glasses, corkscrew and Nespresso machine. A small plug in counter top mini oven and single ring halogen hob are provided. Outside Lovely fenced /hedged cottage garden with lawned area and main BBQ and outdoor dining for 10 a lovely sunny rear garden. A separate courtyard BBQ and eating area to the front of the cabin, along with covered storage for bikes and log store. . Parking is limited to three cars when booking the Cabin and the Terrace. The property is adjacent to a railway that does not bother most of our guests, and we barely notice it at all.
