Guest may cancel their reservations without penalty if canceled more than 48 hours prior to check-in date 4pm Alaska time.

Guest will be charged a 100% Late Cancellation Fee for each room at an amount equivalent to each room's average nightly rate, if the guests cancels 48 hours or less from the check-in date 4pm Alaska time; or less than 7 days from the check-in date 4pm Alaska time for large groups with 4 or more rooms reserved. Cancellation fee to also include taxes and other fees.

No-shows will be charged a penalty equivalent to the first night room rate and taxes, per room.

Please make your payment during the check-in process when you arrive. We do not charge our customer’s credit card prior to check-in date.
Tentative starting February 1, 2023, existing and new reservations require a valid credit card with successful payment of the reservation’s full amount at the time of booking. Reservations are incomplete with unsuccessful payment. Existing reservations created prior to February 1, 2023 will be charged full amount to guest's credit card tentatively February 1, 2023.

The parking permit for Glacier View Condo Suites Guests requires a $20 cash deposit, which is refundable upon return of parking permit during check-out.

Please have your photo I.D. and reservation (printed or on device) prepared for check-in process.

Additional guests not included in room reservation are subject to extra-person fees. If exceeding the maximum occupancy, you will be asked to rent another guestroom for proper accommodations or vacate the hotel without refund.

Room rates are subject to an additional 5% sales tax.

There is a mandatory security deposit taken at check in by either credit card or via a cash deposit. Guests are required to leave a fixed amount of US$250 in either cash or as an
authorization on their credit card. All unused amounts of the deposit will be refunded after departure and room inspection.

Please note that the driving distance from Anchorage airport to Whittier tunnel entrance is about 60 miles (1 hour driving). The Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel’s final opening into Whittier, AK is at 10:30pm each day. Please plan your trip accordingly to allow yourself adequate time to arrive before or on the final tunnel opening. For more details and schedule changes, please visit their website at:

Summer Cruise Ship Passengers Arriving to Whittier:
We advise your group to contact your cruise to double check whether they allow you to stay on the cruise ship until 9am (or later time). In the past, all cruises (Princess, Carnival, etc) typically arrive into Whittier about 12:30am and allow their passengers to disembark at the latest 9am.
